Shanks is a stylized PBR character I made for CGMA's Advanced Stylized Character Art Mentorship, taught by Weston Reid. After the class ended I improved the textures, rigged the character, modeled and textured all the props, and finally posed, staged, and lit it all to match the concept.
Sculpted in ZBrush, retopology and UVs in Maya, baking and lighting in Marmoset Toolbag, textures in Substance Painter, hair flow/direction map in Krita.
Shanks character: 62K tris. 5 sets of 2048px maps (skin, hair, cape, cloth fabric, and everything else - leather, metal, etc.). Eyeball Albedo 512px.
Rock golem: 6K tris including VFX. 1 set of 2048px maps for the character, 1 1024px map for VFX.
Treasure chest: 1 set of 2048px maps.
Sword: 3K tris. 1 set of 2048px maps.
Ground: 342 tris. 1 set of 2048px maps.
Coins: 44 tris each. One coin duplicated in engine. 1 set of 256px maps.
